No matter where you are in your spiritual journey, you’re invited to join us on Sundays at 9 a.m. or 10:30 a.m.  The New Bluffton Worship is a non-denominational, contemporary church.

We meet in a former bar at 39 Persimmon St., Building 200, #203 & #204, in Bluffton, SC.

Finding Hope in the Book of Joel

A new series begins this Sunday, October 18


Life doesn’t always feel alright. Loss, disappointment, and unexpected changes can leave us wondering where God is and how to move forward. Join us at The New Bluffton Worship for a six-week journey through the book of Joel. Together, we’ll explore how to grieve honestly, find hope after loss, and trust God with a future we cannot yet see.

October 18 — When Life Doesn’t Feel Alright
Primary Scripture: Joel 1:1–20
God welcomes our honest grief. We’ll discover how to acknowledge what hurts and bring it to Him together.

October 25 — Turning Toward God
Primary Scripture: Joel 2:1–17
When life leaves us shaken, God invites us to draw near. We’ll explore His mercy and what it means to return to Him wholeheartedly.

November 1 — Hope After Loss
Primary Scripture: Joel 2:18–27
God can bring renewed purpose and joy into wounded places. We’ll consider restoration while making room for the time grief takes.

November 8 — Help for the Journey
Primary Scripture: Joel 2:28–32
We don’t have to face difficult days alone. We’ll discover how the Holy Spirit comforts, guides, and strengthens us—even when we struggle to find words to pray.

November 15 — God Sees What Hurts
Primary Scripture: Joel 3:1–16
Our pain and the wrongs we’ve experienced matter to God. We’ll explore His justice and learn to find refuge in Him.

November 22 — Our Future Is with God
Primary Scripture: Joel 3:17–21
We’ll close with the promise of God’s presence and His renewal of all things, making room for both gratitude and grief as Thanksgiving approaches.

You don’t need to have everything figured out or pretend that you’re doing fine. Whether you’re carrying a burden yourself or walking alongside someone who is hurting, there is a place for you.

We can bring God our pain and trust Him with our future.
