At The New Bluffton Worship, we encourage everyone to not only Worship and Learn, but to Serve others. For some that means active missions for those in need in our community and beyond. Others love to serve within the congregation. The New Bluffton Worship teams are focused on wrapping our community and congregation in love and care.
Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms. Do not be slothful in zeal, be fervent in spirit, serve the Lord.

—1 Peter 4:10-11

About the
Serve Team
The Serve Team’s mission is to provide opportunities for our congregation to reach out to our community in several different ways. They are committed to offering some type of mission each quarter of the year. It could be visiting a nursing home and spending the day playing games, distributing toiletry items, and enjoying cake and ice cream with the residents who live there.
For I was hungry, and you gave me food, I was thirsty, and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked, and you clothed me, I was sick, and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me. Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.
—Matthew 25:35-40
Or another time we may support a community partner, such as Seed in the Ground, by collecting school items and uniforms for their clients and having our youth pack up backpacks with the items needed by each child.
At Oktoberfest, we raise funds for local families facing special challenges in Bluffton and in Hardeeville. It’s a great fall fellowship event including activities for the kids, music, great food and fun for all.
Christmas Blessings finishes out the year. At Christmas Blessings, we set up a gift shop for families identified by MC Riley and Hardeeville elementary schools for children who may not otherwise receive gifts. Families also go home with cleaning products and vouchers to a grocery store so they can purchase what they need to make a holiday meal.
About the
Hospitality Team
The Hospitality Team welcomes everyone with a hot cup of coffee or a cold bottle of water and a snack on Sunday mornings. We arrive at 8:00a.m. to prepare the coffee and set up the bar in time to welcome our first guest. We keep the coffee flowing throughout both services with two teams: the 9:00a.m. service team and the 10:30 service team who then stay for clean up after second service. This is a great way to meet new members and make everyone feel welcome.
Keep on loving one another as brothers and sisters. Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it.
—Hebrews 13:1-2

About the
Greeting Team
Whether it’s your first time visiting, or you are a long-time member, we want to welcome you like family! Our greeters are there to meet you at the door, give directions if needed, be that smiling face, walk a child to their class, help if you want a name tag, and more. Members of the Greeting Team strive to represent our mission, which is to Worship, Learn & Serve Jesus Christ Together as a community.
Therefore welcome one another as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God.
—- Romans 15:7
About the
Care Team
Our Care Team mission is to share the love of Christ with our New Bluffton Worship family. As the body of Christ, we are called to be His hands and feet by caring for and helping those in need. We do this by reaching out to those we haven’t seen in a while, sending cards to those going through tough times or celebrations, providing meals or transportation as needed, visiting people in the hospital or in their homes, and offering up many prayers. We’d love to connect your talents to the needs of our community of faith.
Please reach out to us at tnbwcare@gmail.com if you would like to help share Christ’s love through meals, transportation, cards, visits, and other ways. We look forward to hearing from you!
Be on guard for yourselves and for all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood.
—Acts 20:28
