Partners
Because we are #forBluffton and the lowcountry, we work closely with many local partner organizations to take our passion for worship, learning and serving to those in need.
First Zion Missionary Baptist Church
For a number of years, The New Bluffton Worship and First Zion have come together as special friends. While The New Bluffton Worship is one of Bluffton’s most recently organized churches, First Zion Missionary Baptist is a historic and important part of our community dating to 1862 when the country was still in the bonds of slavery.
First Zion’s Pastor Bennie L. Jenkins Jr. and our pastor, The Rev. Daniel Burbage, have become close in their hearts and lives as we have shared Bible studies, Lenten services, oyster roasts, backpack blessings for children, food pantry drives, combined online streams during Covid, and offering some of the Town of Bluffton’s most beloved worship services, including Christmas Eve Under the Stars on December 24 and Easter Sunrise services, both near First Zion at Bluffton’s Oyster Factory Park on the May River. We love these wonderful neighbors in faith!

Seed in the Ground
Seed in the Ground is a nonprofit, faith-based organization whose focus is on eliminating hunger and spreading hope. They seek to serve those who need food and who desire to improve their lives in both Jasper and Beaufort Counties of South Carolina. By “Sowing Love and Growing Hope,” Seed in the Ground strives to help the whole person get better. Through relationships of those who fall between the cracks in obtaining food, they also discover other needs, such as families who must choose between food or school supplies. The New Bluffton Worship has partnered with Seed in the Ground for several types of drives from replenishing the pantry to providing fully packed backpacks for Back to School and coats for the chilly months.

Backpack Buddies of Bluffton
One day per month during the school year, we open our children’s space so that adult volunteers can pack up backpacks of food and snacks so children who qualify for free breakfast and lunch at school will have food at home over the weekends. There are other ways this important organization distributes food. Check out their website for more info.
Town of Bluffton
Starting in 2023, The New Bluffton Worship has been an Accommodations Tax (ATAX) Grant recipient to assist in getting the word out to the surrounding lowcountry area and beyond about our special gift to the community at Christmas – our candlelight outdoor service on the beautiful May River called Christmas Eve Under the Stars.

Hardeeville & Coastal Carolina Hospital
When Bluffton Worship was first conceived, it was clear there were virtually no social service agencies reaching out to Hardeeville and vicinity. We realized we could help our neighbors and soon began to partner with Hardeeville schools to assure no children go without Christmas presents. Through our Christmas Blessings shop, set up at Coastal Carolina Hospital on a Saturday in December, parents and guardians who have been selected through the school system have a time of their own to come “shop” and select gifts that perfectly fit their child’s age and interests.
Centro de Salvaciòn
Centro De Salvacion is a Spanish-speaking congregation which is located right next to our children’s building. They are a Christian church with the purpose of carrying the message of salvation of our Lord Jesus. For the last two years, their children have been participating in our Children’s Church and Youth Group. It has been a true blessing watching our congregations Worship, Learn, and Serve Together.

Adult Children of Alcoholics (ACA) & Narcotics Anonymous (NA)
These two important recovery groups meet in our church’s Suite 104 space. If you are in need of support and help, you may simply come to a meeting. ACA meets on Tuesdays at 6:00p.m. and NA gathers on Fridays at 8:00p.m.
